Arrival at Hubli airport by flight from Delhi and transfer to the Hampi. Hampi was the capital of South Indian Vijayanagara Empire from the fourteenth to seventeenth centuries. Being a UNESCO world heritage site, because the magic and grandeur of the place is fully understood only when one knows the history and legends associated with the place. Upon arrival we check in and relax.In the evening, (if time permits) watch the sunset at Hemakuta Hill and explore the Hampi Market. Dinner & Overnight stay in the Hampi hotel.Meal: Dinner
After breakfast, today will do sightseeing tour which includes the majestic Virupaksha Temple, dedicated to Virupaksha, an incarnation of Shiva followed by a visit to the underground Shiva temple, Royal center (Queen’s Bath, Lotus mahal) and the Elephant Stables designed with exquisite architecture. The central dome is the largest and most closely designed with exquisite architecture. Have lunch on your own, after that, visit the Vittala Temple. It is dedicated to Lord Vitthala, and is renowned for its extraordinary stone structures, including the impressive Stone Chariot and the Musical Pillars. After this head to Tungabhadra Dam which is located on the Tungabhadra River and do Coracle boat ride across the river (Subject to weather conditions at your own cost). After breakfast, drive to Sanapur Lake is a large scenic lake in Karnataka's Koppal district near the Hampi ruins, that is fed by the Tungabhadra Dam canal. It is known for its serene atmosphere and offers activities like coracle rides, swimming and cliff jumping. After that proceed to Badami which is a 3 hours’ drive. Badami is famous for its world-renowned rock-cut cave temples, which date back to the 6th century and are carved from living rock. It was also the regal capital of the Badami Chalukyas and is known for its other structural temples, including the Bhutanatha temples and the Badami Fort Complex. Upon arrival check in to the resort & relax, Dinner Overnight stay at Badami hotel.Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast, visit Pattadakal which is a one-hour drive and another UNESCO World Heritage Site and has some amazing temples that we can look forward to seeing. Next, proceed to visit the Aihole which is an hour drive away, also a UNESCO world heritage site too. According to mythology, Aihole is the place where Parashurama washed his axe after killing the Kshatriyas. Aihole has historical significance and is called the cradle of Hindu rock architecture. After a long day of wandering, we headed back to our hotel.Dinner & overnight stay at Badami hotel.Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
