PLEASE NOTE THAT:
? The group will be arriving from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and
Bangalore mostly and they might have to wait at the airport for the
fellow traveller to arrive from different flights.
? We have limited seats on this trip on a first come first served basis.
? We can also book flight tickets for you if required.
? If group size is less than 9, a local coordinator at Kashmir will assist the group.
? Flight tickets will be booked once the group is formed.
? Please book flights after written confirmation from WOC

? Lot of negotiation is required with the pony owner, which can be done on the spot.
? On arrival to Srinagar girls have to wait at the airport as local mkt
/restaurants open by 10:30 am onwards.
? Check in time to the houseboat is at 12 pm
? The itinerary shared initially is the tentative itinerary. Final
itinerary will be shared to the closure of the trip departure.
? If day one, we give you a stay in a hotel, we will offer the experience of Shikara ride on another day.

    Day 1 : ARRIVE SRINAGAR

    In the morning, board your flight to Srinagar. On arrival by noon, proceed to visit the world famous Mughal Gardens and the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) then Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). We stop en-route for the Shikara ride on Dal-Lake & enjoy the enchanting view of the illuminated floating houseboats and the tranquil waters as the sun sets behind the mountains. After that check in to the hotel. Begin your Kashmir experience by enjoys a hot cup of yummy Kashmiri Kahwa. Dinner & Overnight stay in the
    Hotel at Srinagar.

    Day 2 : SRINAGAR TO GULMARG - SRINAGAR (APPROX. 80KM / 2 HOUR’S DRIVE ONE WAY)

    After breakfast, proceed for a picturesque drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg was discovered as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century. It also has one of the world’s highest green golf courses. It is popular during summer season and as a ski resort during the winter season. Take a ride of the world famous Gondola chair car ride (till first phase). Later, return to Srinagar.
    Dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar houseboat.

    Day 3 : SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM RETURN TO SRINAGAR(APPROX. 90 KM/ 02 HOURS 30 MIN DRIVE ONE WAY)

    After breakfast, you will be driven from Srinagar to Pahalgam, en-route visit Saffron fields of Pampore, see the beautiful countryside, lots of rice fields and Awantipora ruins on the way. On arrival in Pahalgam, enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaran, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam -a small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers a good view. Dinner and overnight stay at the Srinagar hotel.

    Optional activities:
    ? On arrival, proceed for a horse ride (optional) and enjoy the most beautiful scenic view of Himalayan Mountains. About 11 km from Pahalgam, the Aru Valley offers an eclectic view and calm environs to tourists.
    ? Next, take a tour of the Betaab Valley set amidst pine trees. It has been a favorite shooting location for many Bollywood directors. Being at a walking distance from Pahalgam, this valley is the base camp for various adventure activities, such as mountaineering. Being almost on the edge of the tree line,you will see trees giving way to alpine grasslands here

    Day 4 : SRINAGAR – DOODHPATHRI VALLEY - SRINAGAR (APPROX. 44KM / 02 HOUR’S DRIVE ONE WAY)

    Early in the morning one can take another shikara ride (optional) to observe the hustle and bustle of the floating vegetable market, customers haggling over fresh vegetables, bunches of flowers, spices and often even jewellery. You can try Kashmiri outfits and get a pic clicked near your houseboat. After breakfast, Check out from the houseboat and transfer to Doodhpathri valley of milk, located in Budgam district which lies in the bowl shaped valley in Pir Panjal range. It’s an Alpine Valley covered with snow-clad mountains. After some quiet and peaceful time at doodhpathri, evening return to Srinagar gets dropped at the Srinagar market.
    Explore the market and try some Kashmiri Wazwaan at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar hotel.

    Day 5 : PAHALGAM TO SRINAGAR (2 HR 25 MIN (90.1 KM)

    After breakfast, proceed to Shankaracharya Shiva Temple, Pari Mahal (Fairies adobe) and Chashme Shahi. After that do some last minute shopping. Overnight stay at Srinagar Houseboat.

    Day 6 : SRINAGAR AIRPORT DEPARTURE

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and you will be transferred to Srinagar airport to board your flight.
