Itinerary

    Day 1 : ARRIVAL LEH

    Arrive in Leh by flight, you will meet our travel buddy at the airport and transfer to the Hotel, traditional welcome at the hotel with Khataks and welcome tea and coffee. Full-day rest to get acclimatized to the high altitude of 3524 meters (11,500 ft)In the evening visit Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 2 : LEH- MONASTERY- LEH (70 KM)

    After early breakfast, drive towards the east of Ladakh to visit, Sangam(Confluence of 02 RIVERS- Indus and Zanskar), Magnetic
    Hill(the hill that defies gravity), Hall of Fame (museum constructed as well as maintained by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the 1999 Indo-Pak wars and Gurudwara Pathar Sahab. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 3 : LEH- NUBRA (125 KM)

    After early breakfast, drive for Nubra Valley as early as possible, which is 125 km from Leh en route through the world's highest accessible road Khardong La (18,379 ft). Reach Diskit (headquarter of Nubra valley) and visit Diskit Monastery by noon and check in at the hotel/camp.
    Evening visits dunes in Hunder Village 7 km from Diskit Village and takes a ride of Double Humped Camels. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/camp.

    Day 4 : NUBRA- TURTUK - NUBRA (179KM)

    Excursion to Turtuk - Nubra: One of the most fascinating journeys in Ladakh this is a less popular destination recently opened for tourists, if you have a thirst for a beautiful location this is the place. En route will see spectacular mountain ranges and villages.
    This region is controlled mainly by the Ladakh Scouts, a rear department of the Indian Army, a border village that was recaptured by the Indian Army
    in 1971. Locals have relatives across the border (Line of Control) and depend mainly on farming vegetables, apricot besides providing mules and
    porters.
    Baltistan - a beautiful village with charming people "On the night of December 13, 1971, the people of this village went to sleep in Pakistan and the next morning, they woke up in India. “We are in Turtuk, listening to a villager recounting the history of this remote northwest corner of Ladakh, which until that night was part of Baltistan in PoK. A full-day rough excursion and evening back to Nubra Valley. Overnight
    stay at the camp/hotel Nubra.

    Day 5 : NUBRA- LEH (125 KM)

    After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery. This is the largest and oldest Buddhist monastery in Nubra. Later drive back to Leh from the same route crossing Khardong La Pass. Reach back by the afternoon, and check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure and exploring the Local Market. Overnight stay at the Leh Hotel.

    Day 6 : LEH- PANGONG- LEH (300KM)

    After an early breakfast drive to Pangong Lake which is 149 km from Leh en route through Changla Pass which is the third highest
    mountain motorable pass in the world. The Lake is situated at a height of 4350 meters (14270 ft) in the Changthang region of the Leh district. The lake is hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. Later drive back to Leh from the same route. If time permits, while coming back to Pangong en route visit Thiksey, Shey palace.
    Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 7 : DEPARTURE

    After Early Morning Tea/Coffee, transfer to Kushok Bakula Leh Airport for the return flight.
